Implementation of Integration
Our integration is embedded on the website via a script, and we provide the integration design. The subpage should not be narrower than 992px; otherwise, the less functional responsive view will be loaded.
In the following sections, you’ll find the integration code as well as a few compiled “best practices” for integration.
Here are a few websites that already have the integration online:
1. Create a new subpage (“blank page”) on your website, e.g., “/bus-online-buchen”
2. Insert the following code:
After that, a “Bus” message should appear, indicating that the integration could not be found (“Oops”).
3. Please send us the link to this subpage at partner@busfinder.com, and we will activate the integration.
Your customers will love your booking integration.
We recommend the following steps to make your integration stand out:
Online Offer Instead of Online Booking
Customers will also use the integration to find out an approximate price for their planned trip in advance so they can share it with their travel group. The term “quote” is well-established here—the fact that the bus can then be booked online is just an added bonus.
Prominent placement and multiple links on the website
With every online offering, you save money and provide your customers with exceptional service. Showcase this innovation right on the homepage and/or as a separate menu item. Also, capture the attention of customers looking for a bus wherever they might end up. For example: on the fleet page, on a group travel page, or in the footer at the bottom.
Enabling the input assistant for optimized route planning
The input assistance feature on the integration should be enabled. This guides customers step by step through the route planning process. Please contact us if this is not the case for you.
Let your customers know about your new service, for example,
- In your company email signature: “New: Book a bus online” (+link)
- in the newsletter
Make Room for Integration
and dedicate an entire subpage on your website to it. Remove “sidebars,” teaser images, and sliders from this page. On the integration page, customers should focus solely on getting a bus quote and, if necessary, booking the bus. Of course, you can promote this page elsewhere with images and text and include links to it.
Estimate how many people request quotes and make reservations
Your website administrator will certainly be happy to assist you with this. We will provide you with the quote and booking statistics. We will soon have enough data to let you know how well your customers are responding to the service compared to other companies.
Choose an appropriate introductory text for the integration
When encountering new features or unexpected pages (such as our form), customers read short texts carefully and follow the instructions. We recommend the following text as a basis for your customized introduction:
Plan your itinerary, get quotes, and book online if needed
With our new service, you can plan your custom itinerary and get quotes instantly. Of course, you can also conveniently book your COMPANY NAME bus online.

Train all your customer-facing employees on busfinder
If you don’t generally use busfinder.com for your calculations, be prepared for customers to compare the prices in your “manual” quote with those generated automatically on your website, and have appropriate responses ready. Be sure to communicate this carefully considered position to your employees as well. For example, if the online quote is cheaper, a suitable explanation would be: “This price is only valid for online bookings because it saves us work.”
